I won two bronze awards for two Blue Magazine features in the19th Annual Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition held by the Society of American Travel Writers Foundation - Awards for Work Published in 2002-2003 in 14 categories, the competition was judged by the University of Missouri School of Journalism. It's not quite a Pulitzer, but this competition celebrates the highest honors in travel writing. Most of the magazine awards went to Travel & Leisure and National Geographic Traveler.
