Daneil Pollera, a
Baldwin resident, was educated on Long Island. He studied Art at Farmingdale
University and is basically a self taught artist and who has worked under under
Everett Molinari, a mural artist and the current head of the National Mural
Society. Inspired by such artist as Edward Hopper and Andrew Wyeth, Pollera
paints in a realistic style. His paintings are crisp and has a photographic
quality that capture a strong mood and a melancholy-like feeling. Using
acrylics with a warm palette on board and drawing from personal life
experiences, Pollera lures the viewer in with sharp. almost magical realism
